When I look at an antique quilt I admire hand quilting. I stand in awe of looking at those tiny handmade stitches. I am contemplating whether I want to hand or machine sew. When I machine sew I do not feel very relaxed and meditative. However, when I hand sew I am at peace.

Hi Donna, welcome back. I have missed visiting your blog. I just received a lovely surprise to see that you are back.
I think cross stitch samplers and hand made quilts go so well together. This one is beautiful. When you look at hand made quilts and antique samplers just imagine the stories they could tell. welcome back = Sandra.
