Stacy Nash Primitives Sewing Case

Thank you for your kind compliments!

Above is the finished cross stitch part of the Stacy Nash Primitives Sewing Case. I plan on finishing it myself (wish me luck). I am going to finish it with the fabric underneath in the picture above and plan to sew in an elastic pocket and a needle holder. I used 40 ct linen and Lancaster Red and Dolphin Sampler Threads.

Finished Dutch Treat Sampler Tabletopper

Here is a photo of my finished Dutch Treat Sampler Tabletopper. It was so much fun to stitch. I really enjoyed using Anne Cloth and I am happy with the results.

Thank you for your compliments. I ordered everything from the Dutch Treat website except for the DMC #5 which I ordered from Herrschnerrs. The Dutch Treat website is beautiful except it is confusing when it comes to ordering. I also have the Pumpkin tabletopper kit which I got on ebay for next to nothing. I hope to start it soon!!

Dutch Treat Sampler Tabletopper

I have begun working on the Dutch Treat Sampler Tabletopper. It is such a joy to work on Anne Cloth in DMC #5 with Caron Watercolors. It's a great, easy summer project and I really like it...

I am also waiting to order some Thread Gatherer silk for my Beatrix Potter sampler and I will hopefully finish up on the Ann Marie sampler soon.

Enjoy!!

Beatrix Potter Sampler Started

Above is a picture of the Beatrix Potter Sampler I started. I am stitching it on 4o ct linen and using silk thread. It is so much fun to stitch it. However, I am not happy with how the upper flower came out with the variated thread. I may change it to all one color. I am still unsure.

Lovely Antique Sampler TN

Found: Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, TN

My family and I visited Dollywood this past weekend. It was so much fun. There was a whole section devoted to crafts. I didn't nearly get at much time browsing as I would have like to. There were lots of rides and the shows were fantastic.

For dinner the first night we stopped in Granny Ogle's restaurant for a nice southern buffet. They had fried chicked, backed chicken, meatloaf, catfish and lots of sides. The dessert buffet was heavenly. I had carrot cake AND apple pie. Yes, two desserts!!

After dinner I visited the ladies room and right when I stepped outside the ladies room to go back to my table I spotted the above sampler on a wall next to the bathrooms and hot kitchen. My heart dropped!! Isn't she beautiful? If anyone has information on this sampler, please let me know.

Must run...I am extremely busy these days.

P.S. I have more pictures of this sampler that I will upload.
