Above is the finished Quaker Sampler 1803 from Scarlet Letter that I planned to do on vacation in June. That never happened and what I did stitch had to be ripped out!! But now she is finished. The linen is 30 ct natural and I used DMC. I really like the simplicity of this design...Sunday, July 29, 2007

Elizabeth Savilles 1841 Sampler by Finger Work

Last night I started on Elizabeth Savilles 1841 Sampler by Finger Work. It is a dream to work on I am using Old Willow Sampler Threads and 32 count Antique White Linen. I am using the requested threads, but the fabric was in my stash. The threads are strong and the colors beautiful. The colors are a little more pinkier than the colors on the original above.

Almost Finished with Rachel Hyde

Just a few areas to work on and then Rachel Hyde will be complete. This is a gorgeous sampler and it was a lot of work. However, I am very satisfied with the results.
I did not do to much stitching on vacation, just didn't feel like it.
I don't have another project lined up that I would like to stitch right now. That could change and any moment though...
