Almost Finished.

I am taking these two projects with me on vacation. We are driving 10 hours to FL. They are both easy to stitch. The first one is on 36 ct linen with sampler threads that I converted and the second one is on 30 count natural linen with DMC. I started them both for the trip in case there were problems with color, etc.

These should keep me busy in the car...

Rachel Hyde is on hold and I will not be taking her to FL because she is to large and awkward to carry.

Enjoy...

Rachel Hyde Update1

Here is my most recent update of Rachel Hyde. This Sampler is an antique reproduction from Threads of Gold and I love it. The bottom says God Save America (half done). The colors are dark and subtle on the border and bright in the center. I really like the contrast. I am so enjoying working on this sampler. The right and left vine is stitched in Rice Stitch and the rest so far is cross stitch. I am stitching with 2 threads of floss on 36 ct linen over two. There is some tent stitch with one thread of floss over one. I purchased this sampler at my LNS. Double Cross in Knoxville, TN.

Enjoy!!
