Sarah Pain 1754 Completed

Sarah Lee 1806

Last night I kitted a sampler which I hope to do soon, because it is so pretty. It is from SANQ magazine and it is titled Sarah Lee 1806. I had the linen in my stash and the threads are Gloriana silks...just beautiful.

I have been busy gardening so my stitching will slow down. Spring is here in TN.

Sarah Pain 1754 Progress

Here is a picture of my progress on Sarah Pain 1754 by Scarlet Letter. I am working on her in the evenings for about 2-3 hours at a time. This project is pure bliss. The colors are so antique and the design is so old-fashioned also. I was not sure about the colors but I like the 'antique' feeling to it. I am working on 36 count Birds of a Feather linen and DMC only. I changed one of the DMC colors because it was to bright for me, other than that I am staying true to the original.

Margaret Gibson will be going to get framed this week since they are having a framing sale at Hobby Lobby.

Margaret Gibson Finished

Here is Margaret Gibson finished on Monday night. I decided to thicken the roof on the house with another one ply of Havana. I was not happy with it. Then it will be done. Next I will work on the Little by Little design.

This is Sarah Pain from Scarlet Letter . I really love this sampler and it is on my to do list this year. Just beautiful... It will be a perfect Spring into Summer project..

Update 2 Margaret Gibson

Here is my updated Margaret Gibson from the Scarlet Letter. I really had enough with this project, but I am so close to being done. Left to do is the bottom border, one over one letters, dozens of queen stitches and the right part of the tree. Ohhh, I can't wait to be done with her!!

Little by Little Designs

I just love this Design by Little by Little. This will be my next project. (I already started it). I am doing it in 40ct vintage Luna fabric and DMC with sampler threads. I really like this designer. I can't find their website though...
